Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy applies to purchases made directly from CBL Publications ("we", "us"), based in the United States, by card via Stripe — for example through a StorageBuddy AI web portal, if offered.
Consumer in-app purchases made inside the StorageBuddy AI app through the Apple App Store or Google Play are not covered here — those are governed by the store's own refund policies. This page covers only direct card purchases.
1. What you are buying
- Direct purchases are prepaid digital credits or unlock codes. Each purchase's exact contents are shown at the time of purchase.
- Purchases are one-time unless explicitly presented as a subscription at checkout — you are charged once per purchase and only when you choose to buy.
- No physical goods are sold or shipped under this policy, so there are no shipping, delivery, or physical-return obligations.
2. Refunds
- Unused purchases are fully refundable within 30 days of purchase, on request.
- A purchase is considered used once you generate or redeem a code from it. A code that has already been redeemed is non-refundable, because the unlock has been delivered.
- For a purchase that is only partly used, we refund the portion that remains unused.
- Approved refunds are returned to the original card through Stripe, typically within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
3. Cancellation
One-time purchases have nothing recurring to cancel — you can simply stop buying at any time. If a direct subscription is offered, you can cancel it at any time and it will not renew at the end of the paid period. To close your account entirely, email us and we will disable it; any unused purchases at the time of closure are eligible for a refund under Section 2.
4. Disputes
If something looks wrong with a charge, please contact us first — most issues are resolved within 2 business days. If a card dispute or chargeback is filed, we may pause code generation on the account while the dispute is investigated.
5. How to request a refund
Email hello@storagebuddy-ai.com from the email address on your account, including the purchase date and amount. We will confirm by email once the refund is processed.
